Information Regarding COVID-19

As we are all trying to navigate through the uncharted times of the COVID-19 crisis, all of our patients have questions. We want you to know that we remain as diligent as ever in protecting the health and safety of our patients, staff and community. Our practice strictly adheres to and exceeds the standards for infection control by constant disinfection of the office, continuous air purification in the office environment, wearing personal protective gear, using hospital-grade disinfectants, practicing the latest sterilization protocols and utilizing single-use disposable materials.

WE ARE PRESENTLY OPEN FOR EMERGENCIES ONLY. In the event of an emergency, call our office (847-982-0640) to schedule care as soon as possible. Our team will arrange for proper care and prepare you for your visit. Note that the village of Skokie mandates that everyone wear a mask when in public. Be prepared for a new protocol when you enter our office: We will review your history, take temperatures and escort patients honoring social distancing precautions. As experts and the health care community learns more about these challenges, we maintain a fluid approach to incorporating the most protective steps for safety. We want you to know that we are monitoring this situation very closely, and we will keep you updated.

There is much to learn such as when it will be safe to return to work, when can patients receive more routine periodontal care, will mass testing be available? As a result, we will reschedule patients as the calendar unfolds. Understand that while we will make every effort to respect your periodontal needs and scheduled time, it may be necessary to move your appointment if the conditions do not allow us to see non-emergency patients continue.

To ensure health and safety of you and everyone on our team, please reschedule your appointment if you or a member of your household has a cough, fever, and/or flu-like symptoms. In addition, please reschedule your appointment if you have traveled to any areas within the past 14 days that are at high risk for contracting the coronavirus.
